Hey Glammies: We had media meetings, along with some filming for an upcoming event yesturday and today in BEAUTIFUL downtown Charlotte North Carolina…There were quite a few highlights of this trip. One of which was MERT’S HEART & SOUL RESTAURANT!!!! It was HIGHLY recommended by our driver Jason, who excitedly made our reservation for us!!!
BABY, we are SOOOOOO GLAD HE DID!!!! It was “off the charts” DELICIOUS!!!!
There was a warm friendly hospitality and feel to this Soul Food restaurant situated in a very upscale area of downtown Charlotte on Collage Ave. about 3 blocks from the Convention Center.
The AMAZING menu had such “down home” favorites as Beef Ribs, Catfish, and “SPECIAL” Batter Dipped Shrimp!!!
The delectable sides were Baked Mac & Cheese, The BEST candied yams I EVER had…and a “CAKE BAR”!!!!!!!!
