Hey Glammies: Last Saturday I had the opportunity to perform at the FABULOUS wedding of Maria Wing and Albert Motley.
The Wedding took place at the Glam-Gorgeous RITZ CARLTON (one of my FAVORITE venues)
I was so excited to be a part of this AMAZING EVENT where NO EXPENSE WAS SPARED!!! From the exquisite floral arrangements, to the top celebrity wedding planner, to the wedding cake designed by AMERICA’S TOP BAKER…to the hiring of ME…EVERYTHING was STUNNING!!! Here’s a few pix…enjoy

(keeping her name) Maria is a Senior Associate at Stradley, Ronon, Stevens & Young, a Philadelphia law firm. She graduated from Yale and received her Law degree from Tulane. She is a daughter of the Popular Judge Magdeline D. Coleman.
One of the Groomsmen sat in on drums with my band…and he was SOOO cute!!!

If you like DREAMGIRLS, SPARKLE, or THE SUPREMES, You would have LOVED last nights performance!!! I had such a ball with Erika (from the TV Show “I Married A Mobster”) & CiBon that it was difficult to call it “work”!!!

Every other week I mention that I have a showcase, and I get so many emails from you guys asking if you can come to them…
I just wanted to let you know what a “Showcase” is.
On a daily basis company’s and individuals contact us looking to hire a live band. We then invite our clients out to view LIVE 30 minute informal shows to get a “taste” of the band, meet the players, and talk to ME face to face.
This makes the client feel comfortable with what they’re buying…We love this technique because so far we have gotten 100% signed contracts right on the spot!
Every member of the band is a seasoned pro, and the resumes are quite impressive, so much so that WE are the preferred entertainment for White House Functions, Private Celebrity Events and Weddings, and High End Corporate Galas for companies like Mercedes Benz, Kellogg’s, The Red Cross, HBO, Four Seasons…the list goes on and on!
So to answer the question “Showcases” are for buyers…the Showcase is NOT the gig…The Showcase GETS THE GIG! lol
