Hey Glammies: Over the weekend I had a GLAM GRAND time performing at CHOCOLATE SYMPHONY 2012 held at the beautiful Loews Hotel in Pholadelphia. The event was an annual benefit for the ALZHEIMER’S ASSOCIATION sponsored by the PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES that featured CHOCOLATE DESSERTS from renowned pastry chefs! We had a really fun time!!!! Today was the first full day of Josh and Kayla’s SPRING BREAK!!!! If you follow us you know who they are, but if you’re new to this blog…Josh is my son, Amber’s little brother, and Kayla is my niece (who lives with me)
…I like for my vacations to coincide with my children and I like to make their breaks fun and memorable…
Since XFINITY LIVE just had their grand opening on March 30th we decided that was the 1st stop!!!
From the time we arrived the kids were bubbling with excitement.

We also ate at the NBC Sports Arena, while watching The Masters Gulf Tournament on the 50 foot XD TV Screens!!!

XFINITY LIVE is a great place for families DURING THE DAY…be advised that after 8pm it becomes more for adult fun…great place to hang with the fellas or with the girls, and even a great place for date night…
I will definitely be going back again!
The kids has SO MUCH FUN the slept the whole ride home!
I’d say spring break has gotten off to a great start!!!! Stay tuned…More great SPRING BREAK adventures with Josh and Kayla.

Over the weekend Amber and I participated in Resturant Week! We went to Del Frisco’s for the first time…but baby, it will NOT be the last!!!
Del Frisco’s has a Grand Ambiance with 200 foot ceilings and marble columns draped in luscious red silk fabric..It totally reminded me of the restaurant in the Barbra Streisand movie “HELLO DOLLY” because of the huge-ness and the fabulous GRAND STAIRCASE!!! “MEGA GLAM!!!! I was just waiting for the waiters to do their dance number and Louie Armstrong to start the song!!! Lol
The food was flawless and delicious we both thoroughly enjoyed the fillet and lobster!!! They get 4 well-manicured thumbs up! Enjoy the pix
