Hey Glammies: Last week I met with one of my super stylish clients and while we were going over her contract her phone rang. She reached in her Celine bag and pulled out a hot pink retro hand set and said “hello” LOL…Well, I totally high fived her and said I HAD TO HAVE ONE IMMEDIATELY! She proceeded to pull it out of her iPhone and hand it to me…but I refused to take hers!
I later told Amber about it, then moved on.
On Mother’s Day Amber surprised me with 2 of them, pink, of course, and a purple one! I think they are SO CUTE, and I’ve been reaching into my Celine and saying “hello” since I had them. I didn’t realize so many celebs were rocking them until Amber told me.

Hey Glammies: on Sunday I was really proud of myself for cooking a COMPLETELY ORGANIC DINNER!
My grocery shopping was done at my FAVORITE grocery store WHOLE FOODS, Amber even shopped organic and cleaned her fridge out of food with harmful toxins!!!! Yaaay! We got some really fresh organic ingredients! I am on a mission to convert my family’s diet to 100% ORGANIC and we’re off to a great start. Here’s a few pix and recipes ENJOY…and BE INSPIRED TO LIVE A GLAM HEALTHY LIFESTYLE!
HERB ORGANIC ROASTED CHICKEN:
1 whole organic chicken (Whole Foods)
4 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. paprika
1 tsp. sea salt
1/2 tsp. fresh ground pepper
1 tsp. rosemary
1 tsp. thyme
Melt butter; stir in seasoning. Pour over chicken. Bake in preheated 400 degree oven about 30 minutes, basting with pan juices after 15 minutes..Top with fresh parsley
Ingredients
3 pounds Brussels sprouts
1/2 cup olive oil
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup balsamic vinegar
1 cup dried cranberries
Directions
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Trim/clean the Brussels sprouts, then cut them in half. Arrange on 2 baking sheets and toss with the olive oil. Roast until brown, 25 to 30 minutes.
Combine the balsamic vinegar and sugar in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to medium-low and reduce until very thick.
Drizzle the balsamic reduction over the roasted sprouts, then sprinkle on the dried cranberries. CLICK HERE FOR BRUSSEL SPROUT RECIPE:
The family really enjoyed dinner, and I felt SO GLAM AWESOME knowing I was feeding them GLAMTASTIC ORGANIC FOOD!!!

The General Manager came to greet us upon arrival and escorted us to the Fountain Restaurant where we were seated in the SWAN CAFE area at a perfect area the overlooked the grounds of the property. Hey Glammies; On Saturday night, the American Red Cross held the annual Red Ball, Gala where 2500 guests dined on delicious food by Seasons 52, the Water Works, Ristorante Panaroma, and the JNA Institute of Culinary Arts, and danced to the tunes of CTO Artists. The evening’s hostess, was Renée Cardwell Hughes, CEO of the Southeastern chapter of the American Red Cross and I was honored to be the MC as well as run the timeline, and perform for this GLAMAZING event!!! I’m in LOVE with the quality of the eyeshadows! They are nice and pigmented and true to the pot color! What you see in the pot is what you get! LOVE THEM!!! Hey Glammies: As we all know BEY SHUT IT DOWN during the Super Bowl XLVII halftime performance.
She performed a variety of her hit songs and did a SUPER GLAM job. The outfit she WERRRKED was a custom design by Rubin Singer!
Black leather motorcycle jacket, leather bodice detailed with python & iguana and a bit of peek-a-boo lace. The jacket and skirt got tossed in the crowd in TRUE GLAM STYLE!!!
Later members of Destiny Child’s Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams hit the stage wearing matching leather outfits that Beyonce also helped design. They ALL KILLED IT singing “Bootilicious”, “Independent Women”, “Single Ladies” and a host of other songs. Congrats to the Baltimore Ravens for winning too! Hey Glammies: Last night we had the fabulous opportunity to attend the Red Carpet Premiere of The Lifetime TV Movie “BETTY & CORETTA” starring MARY J. BLIGE as Betty (Wife of Malcolm X) and ANGELA BASSETT as Coretta (Wife of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.)
The event was held in TRIBECA NYC with a cocktail party and screening with the cast! Check out the photos from the VIP event!

Hey Glammies: Last night Amber and I had the FABULOUS opportunity to experience “GORGEOUS” a night filled with fashion, music, photography, and art to benefit CITY OF HOPE. Noel Zayas Events created a high profile, luxury lifestyle event, entitled, Gorgeous, which was WELL EXECUTED at The Ritz Carlton, Philadelphia’s historic landmark hotel on the Avenue of the Arts on Sunday night.
Designers like Nicole Miller, Carmelita Couture, and Priscilla Costa to name a few, added the Fashion Backdrop to this Tre-Glam Event!
Master Chef Nathan Volz of 10 Arts (5 star Restaurant located in the Ritz Carlton) prepared a delectable array of finger foods and specialty cocktails were served!
